All the wizards in the old civilizations and cultures stated that the gastro intestinal tract is the origin of all the common diseases that we may suffer from. Thousands years later, scientists prove that assumption or finding through several lab and field tests. So, if you are keen to avoid the daily ailments that you usually suffer from, then you need to implement a healthy routine for your food intake.
First let us talk about things that you need to avoid completely or with the least possible portions. This group includes several items, salt crackers are full of saturated fat and salt, large amounts of fat and butter and highly spicy food. These food items cause a real disturbance in your gastrointestinal tract because they are full of saturated and unsaturated fats, salts and spices that may affect the inner lining of the stomach. Of course we know that these foods taste good and most of people like its taste, we just recommend that you take it out of your daily routine, let the consumption of these foods to be occasionally.
The second group is those food ingredients that are healthy to consume but you need to take certain precautions when you consume it. One of the prominent examples of this group is garlic cloves; the garlic is full of antioxidants and large amounts of vitamins and essential elements. The only problem with the garlic is the excessive amount of volatile oils. So, you must include garlic in your diet but you need to eat it in a salad dish that contains several ingredients to minimize the effect of the volatile oils. Another example is coffee; all of us prefer to drink coffee just after we wake up and on empty stomach. Although the coffee is known to be of great benefits to the heart condition but drinking it on empty stomach can cause peptic ulcers.
Fibers should be the filling material in your meals instead of carbohydrate. In other words, if you want to feel full then eat a large bowl of green salad containing celery, lettuce and cucumber instead of eating a large portion of bread. The large amounts of bread consumed regularly could cause constipation unlike the fibers that cause your intestine to contract in a regular way leading into regular bowel emptying.
In general, keeping your diet balanced is your best option, consume balanced portions from different food ingredients but keep away from the extremes like too salty, too spicy and too oily food.
